India internet service providers

February 5th, 2007

Besides bsnl broadband there are a lot of internet service providers in India but none of them has packages at par with developed countries and by the looks of it it might take a couple of years to catch up as the competition amongst the isp’s intensifies.

BSNL broadband is one isp which has taken a step farward by providing speeds up to 2mbps at a price of Rs199 and apart from bsnl there isint one isp that provides this much speed at a price anywhere near this. The private isp’s in India surprise me as they are not being able to compete with the mighty BSNL internet and it really puts private sector in the back seat when it comes to providing internet services and BSNL being the front runner.

The state run bsnl broadband is the leader in India in every way and with them embrasing the newest technology before any other companies in India, private players have lost a lot of ground and not showing any signs of catching up with the mamoth customer base of bsnl broadband.

BSNL broadband apart from being cheap is available country wide as opposed to private operators who have restrcted themselves to densly populated areas.

With bsnl broadband beating the crap out of other isp’s in India, India’s internet scene is set for a change soon and the internet penetration is rising at a very good pace and should become at par with any other developing country in 5 years time.

January 26th, 2007

Taking a great step ahead BSNL broadband has decided to start its broadband services using the new wimax technology in more then five thousand villages and they have already been testing this technology at ten locations including a few rural areas of haryana.

BSNL broadband is the largest isp in India and still has a massive customer base who use dial up internet connection and bsnl internet is planning to upgrade them to broadband at a very reasonable fee which will bring them more revenue per month then ever before.

Bsnl broadband is all set to destroy its sarkari image and is planning to invest rs2000 crore to enhance its capabilities and this will take thier broadband capacity to 50lakh customers unlike private operators who are already chocked up.

Best broadband service in India

January 3rd, 2007

There are many broadband service providers in India now and many of them have a large customer base now but when it comes to choosing the best service provider BSNL broadband is the undoubted choice of millions. Bsnl broadband has recently upgraded the speed from 256kbps to 2Mbps for many of thier broadband service plans.

Bsnl broadband has gone an extra mile when it comes to showing responsibility towards the nation by providing broadband services in the remotest of areas where private players will not dare to step for the next few years i not decades as those areas are not densely populated and wont return thier investment in the near future So bsnl broadband came to the rescue for people living in remote villages.

I have started this blog just to let every one know what a wonderful job BSNL is doing by connecting even the rural areas in India with the WWW.

BSNL broadband is till date the best value or money aswell because thier prices are lower then all the private sector broadband service providers like Airtel,Reliance and Tata broadband.
